I've had the pleasure of watching this doe reach 2 years old now. She was one of 2 fawns that were both piebald from one normal colored doe. One of those fawns was taken by a bowhunter as a 1 1/2 year old early last season...she remains. I was hoping to see her with fawns of her own this year, but not yet. Over the course of 17 years, this area routinely produces coloration like this every two-three years. It is just kinda neat to see with some frequency like that. enjoy. |

are you sure the deer in the picture is a doe? i thought only bucks had black on their back legs....don't know just asking.. |
